These orientation weeks consist of: * Required trainings held on Tuesday and Thursdays during these two weeks (Tuesday, August 16; Thursday, August 18; Tuesday August 23; and Thursday, August 25). We’ll have coffee for everyone starting at 9 am, and we’ll begin officially at 9:30 am and work through lunch (provided by us, concluding at 1 pm). These required orientations will give us a chance to develop shared capacities in multimodal instructional design and key tools. * Optional training and workshops on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during these two weeks. * Optional happy hour on both Fridays at 4 pm, which are both informal social time and “show and tells,” where we share what we’ve been working on and reflect on what we’ve been up to that week.
