# Remote Teaching by CodePath.org
This is a book owned and maintained by a community of educators who are transitioning lesson plans and learning experiences online to respond to the global pandemic. Everyone is transitioning to remote learning in an emergency situation- this is a disruption to learning on an unprecedented scale. It is also an opportunity for us to learn from one another and help maintain our community connections throughout this worldwide event.
## Training Agendas
#### 1-2PM : Teaching Remotely with Zoom
We'll discuss how to use the tools Zoom comes with to run an effective remote session, and talk about how remote sessions differ from in-person sessions.
10 min: Icebreakers (participate!)
20 min: Zoom Controls, Slides & Large Groups
20 min: Large Group Discussions (participate!)
10 min: Small Groups and Breakout Room Practice
#### 2:00 - 2:45 : Unconference Breakout Session
We'll randomly group everyone, and you'll have a chance to collaborate with educators from different organizations and hopefully capture that collaboration here, for others to use later.
#### 2:45 - 3:00 : Presentations
All groups will present what they've collaborated on & learned.
