![](https://i.imgur.com/R7AWe1W.png) # Electrica Imperium > Empowering the energy industry through the use of technology, to provide cleaner and profitable means of production. *Electrica Imperium* consists of a web application that offers a dashboard, a GIS, and a data ingestion API to help energy consumers, distributors, and producers manage their assets. The end goal is to improve the way unexpected issues are handled and reduce the reliance on non-renewable energy sources. ![](https://i.imgur.com/dzt9KQj.jpg) ## How to run First create a `.env` file equal to `.env.example` and change its values appropriately. You can deploy the web application using Docker by running `docker-compose up`. To delete all volumes from Docker run `docker-compose down -v`. ## How to use ### Mode selection You can select the way you want to interact with the map my choosing a mode from the existing four, in the top left buttons: - **View** - Default mode. Allows you to drag the map, rotate it, click on nodes to check their information and drag nodes. - **Add Asset** - Places a new asset on your mouse position, using the left click. - **Add Sink** - Places a new sink on your mouse position, using the left click. - **Connect Nodes** - Let's you select an asset and a sink to connect, using the left click. ### Side drawer - You can check placed nodes and existing warnings. ## Changelog Changelog can be read fully at [CHANGELOG.md](CHANGELOG.md). ## Contributing You can check hwo to contribute by reading [CONTRIBUTING](CONTRIBUTING).
