4. Any other business
4.1. Spain updates
- We managed to contact the president and secretary of the Association, and set up an AGM. There, we elected the new board. We prepared the documents and sent them to the Spanish Interior Ministry for approval. We still don't have a response from them.
We also started a call for new members, and got 60 members, woo! 28 of them attended the AGM on an online call.
We also contacted Jornadas de SIG Libre (similar to FOSS4G, but for Spain), to see how can we create a national event together (SotM). They are happy with the idea, and we could do it together with their event in September https://www.jornadassiglibre.org/
We would need to get the licenses, as we are not a local chapter.
