# Raid Guild MolochDAO Website Proposal ## Overview The existing MolochDAO website doesn't reflect the current status of the DAO. It's bloated, content is outdated, there isn't direct integration with the handbook, and the design style is inconsistent. ReallyBoringGuild needs assistantance rebooting the MolochDAO brand and online presence. ## Solution Raid Guild will create a new design system and develop the new website. This website will be easily editable via markdown, and instructions will be provided for adding new pages in the future. ## Deliverables > **Consultation** The overall website strategy will be discussed with ReallyBoringGuild to identify the purpose of the site, the target audience / users, and any technical requirements. > **Visual Design System** A design system will be created in Figma to reflect MolochDAO's brand and values. This design system will be used to create the website and handbook. This will also give the marketing team a great starting point for any future promotional graphics. > **Website Page Content** Content will be written for the following website pages: Home, New Members, Project Grants, Research Grants, Annual Report. The structure of the Research Grants Page will be outlined, but the exact content will come from the ReallyBoringGuild or the Grants Team. The 2021 Annual Report page content will come from the Annual Report Team. > **Website SEO Meta Data** Content will be created for each page's meta data (Title, Description, Image). > **Website Page Designs - Part 1** The following website pages will be designed with Figma: Home, New Members, Project Grants, and Research Grants, and Annual Report. Each of these pages will be adjusted as needed after receiving feedback from ReallyBoringGuild. > **Website Page Development - Part 1** The new website will be built on GitHub with Docusaurus so that markdown can be used, and allow easy editing / updates. We will develop and style the pages listed above - with the Research Grants Page and Annual Report Page being an empty shell for content to be added later. The 3 Medium blogs will be connected to the new site via a module that shows the most recent blog post. Each of these blogs will stay on Medium for now. > **Handbook Development** Docusaurus will be used to create a new version of the MolochDAO handbook that reflects the new design system. The current handbook content will be transferred over to this new handbook. > **MailChimp Integration** MailChimp newsletter opt-in forms will be added to the website so that visitors can subscribe for more information and announcements. > **Launch New Site** All website and handbook files will be transferred over to the MolochDAO GitHub repository and pushed live. > **Instructions** Video instructions will be provided on how to manage the website and handbook. This will make it easy for any ReallyBoringGuild or MolochDAO members to make updates and create new pages - without having the original development present. ### Timeline February 1, 2022?
