# Webaverse Marketplace

We are building a Webaverse-adjacent, standalone marketplace where users will be able to buy, sell, bid and auction NFTs.

This will replace the old, broken marketplace:

Webaverse makes NFTs which are ERC-1155s. We also support users importing their own NFTs and selling them, ERC-721 or 1155. Users can also mint their own NFTs by uploading assets either to the main Webaverse app or to this marketplace.

## Features
- Users can see a list of assets for sale
- Users can list assets for sale
- Users can buy listed assets for sale
- Users can view their assets inside the Webaverse app
- Users can view their own inventory
- Users can view the inventory of other users
- Users can inspect the files of each asset
- Users can mint new NFTs and edit their existing NFTs

- Generally, we want to replicate every main feature of Opensea
- We want to avoid using any database or login outside of web3 - user signs with wallet and marketplace is on-chain

- We support 3 chains- mainnet Ethereum, Polygon and our own EVM sidechain (where minting is free)
- NFT import code should be shared between main app and marketplace -- perhaps we make a new git submodule for webawallet stuff

- Users can decrypt encrypted contents
- Users can reveal secret messages
- Users can check provenance with etherscan etc
- users can transfer NFTs between chains (using transfer proxy contracts)
- Users can trade assets with other users
- Fully integrated with Webaverse app, users can use their full inventory in world

- App is a react component installed into webaverse main app and pulled up with a key
- Full 3D avatar-centric wearable marketplace like Fornite -- change weapno, hat etc in 3D
