## 30.05 team meeting report

**Michelle**
Busy with getting funding to further develop Kurate.Plan is to have Romi Van Daele fashion as a persona in Kurate, talking to Fabian Vogelsteller to see if Kurate can be developed for Lukso.
Working with Matt and Philippe on boardwalk

**Kiki**
Working on Romi Van Daele
progress on the T-shirts
Getting a team get together organised step by step, first is getting a common date

**Philippe**
Had to change the contract for boardwalk to make the escrow (deposit) changeable in order to have a smaller amount to deposit. Contract part is done, UI will need some love.

**Attila**
Working with WAKU
Hack.md with documentation, questions and issues. Issues are reported and some of them are fixed already.
Let's get the retro back on track.

Had a good weekend
Preparing the first Waku Object proposal for the presentation today
Mixed tape almost ready

creating some visual material for Waku objects, some concepts and ideas
fixed small things in the app
about team get together: waiting for the choir rehearsal schedule to give availability
changed the personal training hours, it will be monday and friday at 6pm CET

## 25.05 team meeting report

Finished current work: new chat flow, has been merged by Vojtech
Started on flow update new identity

Started integrating WAKU with chat app
meeting with Vojtech and Philippe about archictectural planning
writing things down which will eventually be the specs for Waku Objects
Getting familiar with the code

Progressed on restore mechanism
Shouldn't crash anymore
errors in the console - udeful for dev
working on saving uder profile
next up: work on mnemonic, find out (done) and fix why chat doesnt work

Almost done with boardwalk deploy
need to test UI on gnosis and goerli, should be done this evening
Next up: work on protocol for Waku Obects
Go through Waku releases see what has changed

would be nice to meet and be together for a week, kiki is organising

Will ask Zsofi to look around lake Balaton to come together
Worked more on RAD, potential second Waku Object: send payment
Lot of structural ideas came from it, restructured things, will present tuesday after team meeting

## 23.05 team meeting report

been very productive on Rue Antoine Dansaert (RAD)
a lot of things got clarified:
* integration with wallet
* where chat apps stops and RAD starts
* made some changes - reviewed with Vojtech
reading through the draft Michelle made for a waku object scenario
watched town hall, bit suprised we were not on the logos diagram
felt a bit of tension between status - logos
Logos design is super cool, but maybe not always applicable in apps etc, hope we can give inspiration for that. Love to talk to Ned.

Didnt have as much time as wanted
moved forward building wallet
made david happy with working back button
catched up with Barbara, clear path forward now
insight from Logos - Status: it is not clear for the people in logos/status neither, Status would like to have an independant position

Bit less progress
spent time on Waku research
had meeting with Frank (Waku) and Philippe, got lots of pointers to where they're at and where they're going
timeframe : months and years
there will not be a done version for us in the short term
Watched the townhall, biggest take away is the timeline release status app: end of summer. Curious what will be in there
Q: What are we gonna do with Waku
A: not so important for us, we can build POC. We can have our own Waku nodes fe. It is good to know though what they will be working on: spam protection and incentivisation model.

worked on boardwalk gnosis release, had to update the UI, because contract calls are a bit different.
Added feature to add descriptions to a post, fe link to github issue or more explanation
Had meeting with Frank and Attila, was interesting, about sharding etc

working on new chat flow

watched town hall: how does this affect us? The whole Dao-fication?
A: not really, this process will take long. On the other hand, Logos wants to go back to strong principles and beliefs. Something we are already doing. Working in a different way.
Also the DAO will not have everything decentrally organised, but more like some decision making will be, there will be an executive layer that will still be managed and prepared old-school.

DAO's are still futuristic.
Jarrad and others really want a team like ours
Not worried about what the other teams are doing, I trust what the others are doing in their domain.
We need to inspire, not to try make things that are production ready and need maintainance.

## 16.05 team meeting report

Thinking about Waku Objects that mint an NFT, to avoid notary, interesting for proof of "something"

Worked on minimal version of chat app
Happy with the way of working, where we have the different avenues with a different scope for each
There is enough work done on Avenue Louise, will stop working on it now
spent a lot of time on design optimalisation
next step: clarity on wallet and first Waku Object
The part that is Waku Objects in the chat app will be an insert now, to be filled in later, when we have Objects
Bonus: working on a visualisation on how we are approaching this second project, with the avenues and the progress on each.

## 11.05 work meeting on design chat and first waku object

Expectation and goal: getting a shared understanding on where we are at on the design of the chat app, getting a scope to minimal design, discuss the first Waku Object

Questions after the presentation of David:
Is the waku object in chat /follow up of waku object in chat a snapchot or will it's content change over time (fe change from payment requested to payment successful) ANSWER: it changes and has the latest state in the chat balloon
Attila: suggestion to start with this first object and parallel start to work on the store, so we learn on both fronts and we can incorporate both later, this way we dont overcomplicate from the start.
Q: why do we need to have a confirmation bubble referring to the original bubble of the W.O.?
A: tried to keep as much as possible in the chat conversation because that is the context a user is operating in.
Q: can we costumise the behaviour of a W.O. on user level?
A: thought about that, maybe filtring and adaptations in the menu- account- manage, but is not a priority

2 topics to decide on:
**treat wallet as pocket money**
Can we, for sake of simplicity, suggest that the money you put in the wallet in the app is like pocket money, so we dont need to work on high security or metamask. This way it is easy to showcase the actual W.O.'s.

Setting up a new project from the begonning

Met with Michelle and Kiki do handover the handover document from Kurate
Want to figure out one more thing in Kurate, which is a little rabbit hole, but want to understand
happy to continue on Waku Objects

**Michelle**
one of the goals is a sustainability strategy, so trying to make something as efficient as possible: getting tasks for Kurate on boardwalk. Working out how this could work, so outside devs can pickup and continue, get payed, earn REP and get project tokens later.
Going to talk to Philippe if we need to add more to the hand-over document Vojtech prepared.
Talked to Manuchehr: he is very happy with our team, he wants to find more budget to develop boardwalk further and to develop Kurate further.

## 09.05 Team meeting Report

Michelle and I met with Al, from communications. They would like us to go present Kurate on 2 or 3 events, preferrably the onces that are about privacy - community
We can give them our preferred events. Suggestions right now are ethCC (Paris), eth Barcelona

made progress in the design of chat, almost all features done
basic design system for objects and components, synced with Barbara

Started a project locally for website where objects would be listed.

Matt's status update: as a result of the change in communication strategy, on a divergent path, looking for other projects. Lending a hand for boardwalk and Kurate where needed.

Kurate runs locally, but only for the creator of a persona. Issues with the adapter.
Needs some debugging, together with features that need to be implemented.
Handover document is almost ready: what are the components, how do they react.
Going to plan a meeting with Kiki to check the hand-over document
Want to start working on the object. like to help design the interface.

Managed to run Kurate locally, not the best experience, slow...
Have a PR ready with a tutorial on how to run it yourself.
Check with Kiki what else we need to handover.
Going to check if REP works, not in God mode
Feel a bit blocked on Waku Objects, waiting for the scope document.
Can we next time do 1 week brainstorming with the whole team?

Been playing with aztec connect (ZK rollup), not super easy, not able to run it yet.
Deploing boardwalk on ZKEVM
Looked into the possibilities of private ZKEVM's

Would love half an hour with Vojtech to go over list issues in Kurate
