# Better Meetings Proposal

Feedback from different team members about the length, format and topics of our team meeting has been negative. Here's a proposal for improvement.

## A: "Team" meetings
### Duration / Frequency:
* 2x week, tue and thu 2pm
* 35 minutes strict

### Format:
* No agenda
* 5 minutes time for update
* meeting report [meeting agenda/reports](https://hackmd.io/PoTj9XKKSXq3Gb2m8VlSfw)
* When time is up, topics move to next meet.

### Possible Topics:
* how are you doing?
* Info we need to share with each other
* Focus points
* Update on what we're doing and why

### Goal
* being in touch with each others emotional state
* knowing who is doing what to make sure everything is going in the same direction
* detecting the need for a more elaborate meet on a certain topic. (presentation or work meeting where not everyone needs to attend)

## B: Presentations
### Duration:
As long or short as needed

### Format:
* Treat it like a talk at a conference.
* Q&A limited time
* Schedule 2 days in advance.
* Make a good description and create a discord event
* Consider making the presentation public
* Preferably recorded for those who can't attend

### Topics:
* Tech demos
* Design presentations
* Storytelling presentation
* General web3 interesting stuff

## C: Work meetings
This can also be replaced by working async in a hackmd or in discord

### Duration:
* As long or short as needed

### Format:
* ad hoc between the parties that want to discuss on a topic
* small group 2-3 ppl
* present the outcome in the teammeeting or presentation

### Topics:
* Topics that are up for discussion
* Topics that need input from someone else on the team, f.e. stratedy check, technical reality check, ...
