# How to connect domitory internet via LAN Cable

## For Windows

In the guys' dorm, there's a LAN cable and login info behind each desk, so you can just log in. But in some of the nicer rooms, there's only a socket, no LAN cable, so you’ll have to buy one. A 1-meter cable costs around 100 NT, and a 2-meter one is about 150 NT.

Also, it seems like the girls' dorm doesn't provide LAN cables either.

NQU provides a school Wi-Fi called "NQU," but it doesn't reach the guys' dorm. There's also "1.free.wifi," which is public wifi, but it only gives you 5-15 minutes of access before making you watch ads again.

You can also set up a router and configure it, so the wired LAN connection can be turned into Wi-Fi for your phones and other devices., I remember i bought TOTOLINK N200R for 300NT in shopee and already use for years still very good

## For Mac

System Setting -> Network -> Add Service -> PPPoE

Account Name = Account (Cek On Desk Sticker)
Turn on **Remember Password** and input the Password
