## Story behind the party
### 3 pictures of their annual life
It used be an annual drinking party night. I would invite all my classmates in Physics department to come to drink beers and wine. Despite of drinking, every year, <font color="#EE6363">attendence would prepare 3 pictures to share how this year has been with their life.</font>

### Forty portraits in forty years

On 2017, inspired by [Forty Portraits in Forty Years](https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/10/03/magazine/01-brown-sisters-forty-years.html?mtrref=www.google.com&gwh=BBE12021C3B66884C5F686E23BD7DF9E&gwt=pay) work from a photographer, Nicholas Nixon, I started a similar project. I told my classmates I wanna spend 40 years taking annual pictures of us to see how time flows and bonding our friendship tighter and much meaningful.

### Interactive with the past collectively<font color="#EE6363">?!</font> 👀

Recently, owing to my curiosity of memory, I found your MirrorFugue and Andante works on MIT media lab webpage, which are fascinating.

When I saw the piano playing by you and 9-year-old yourself (daughter of Professor Hiroshi Ishii), I know there is something emotional feeling behind this. What I feel is something about <font color="#EE6363">visualizing your progress, remembering how piano was for you when you're 9 </font>and so on.

These are a kind of ingredients which I wanna put into my project. However, I'm still trying figure out how to make it happen. Therefore, I contact you and wanna hear your advise.

## Current Status

From [Xiao Xiao's PhD Dissertation Defense](https://vimeo.com/175361217), MirrorFuge is created based on realizing **embodiment**. I'm not sure if there is a specific technical phrasing for my purpose. What I'm trying to do is:

- <font color="#EE6363">Capturing and visualizing the sharing process in an interesting way.</font>
- <font color="#EE6363">Keep the group bonding tighter as time goes by.</font>
- <font color="#EE6363">Making attendance to engage more with each others lives.</font>

- What's the methodology you take while designing your project?
- Is there any resource, such as books, courses, or other inspiring materials you would suggest me to take a look at?

> talking through powerpoint, drinking beers, taking pictures...
- Ways of sharing?
> Rather than "3 pictures sharing", is there any other ways of sharing which can make things more interesting.
- Ways of interacting with the past?
> Have no clue instead of let them view all pictures over the years.
