We're a group of friends building stuff on the internet so more people can play and make things together. This is our first Nouns prop, but not our first web3 rodeo. In 2021, some of us launched [Exquisite Land](https://exquisite.land/), a pixel-art canvas gameshow that delighted the web3 space for a few months. Currently, we're working on [Tanaki, an AI character](https://tanaki.ai/), and his vision for the internet as a [creative & collaborative playground](https://lingonberry.ai/) full of toys, tools, and experiences. As Tanaki and his internet playground develops, we see Nouns as a perfect partner for a bit of web3 play. ### The Nouns Experience in Tanaki's World Through [the Tanaki app](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tanaki-ai/id6475178432), we'll bring a fun and easy way to make art into the Nounsverse. In the app, Tanaki has a range of paintbrushes to reach for, each brush offering a different artisic style to you as the creator. Some of Tanaki's paintbrushes allow creators to bring their favorite creative universes to life. Currently, we've got brushes called: "Shrekify", "Piderman", and "PokéMaker". Picking up where [TheHeroShep](https://twitter.com/TheHeroShep) & [Honk Diddly](https://twitter.com/Honkdiddly) left off with [the Nouns AI Playground](https://github.com/nounsai/nouns-ai-sd-server/), we'll leverage the fine tuned Stable Diffusion model to build a bespoke brush to let people paint Noggle-infused art with Tanaki. ![paintbrushes](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/r1hyRYOup.png) With the addition of the Noggles paintbrush in the Tanaki app, we'll also revamp the studio and gallery to reflect a uniquely Nounish experience. Once the Noggles brush is selected, Tanaki - with his 3 eyes - will don a 3-lensed pair of Noggles. And the gallery walls will feature generated Noggled art on the walls. ### Building a Bridge Between Tanaki & Farcaster With the Noggles painting experience built, we'll turn our focus to crafting an artful communal playground. We'll build a bridge between the Tanaki Unity app and Farcaster so artists have the option to share their Noggles art directly to the Farcaster network. The Tanaki x Farcaster bridge necessitates building out some light account/connective infrastructure within the Tanaki app. We're excited for the opportunity to invite Tanaki artists to play in the web3 and Nouns worlds via Farcaster. ### Weekly Noggles Art Challenges To test out our newly crafted pipeline and experiment with cultivating a Noggles art scene on Farcaster, we'll host weekly Noggles Art Challenges. The weekly art challenges will feature playful creative prompts for artists crafting fun Noggles art with Tanaki. In the Tanaki Discord, we'll host a special place for the Noggles Weekly Art Challenges as well. This will allow us to educate Tanaki artists about the web3 space, Farcaster, and Nouns. (Offer a few hosted chats on Tavern for Nouns edu, Q & A, etc??) TO DO: get @tanaki on Warpcast? ### Vision This prop is to buid a foundation for the Tanaki x Nouns relationship: creating a social experience and building some technical pipes in the process. We'd love to explore further after this first phase, building on what we've learned about how our two worlds fit together. The biggest area we'd like to explore in the future is building Zora minting directly into the Tanaki app for Noggles art. The NFT mint would be an optional step for those who want to collect and trade Noggles art. Combining the NFT space with AI art is exciting for a few reasons: - we'll work closely with artists to understand their preferences within the AI art to blockchain pipeline - we'll translate our learnings about the creative, artistic experience in AI NFT art to something that is reflected technically in the Tanaki x Nouns product experience - we'll introduce financial upside into the partnership through a simple artist-driven workflow that's win-win-win for artist-Nouns-Tanaki How do we weave in Bound?? https://www.bound.wtf/ - Auto-funding Nouns treasury ### Budget & breakdown $25,000 USDC for an estimated 4 weeks build-time and several weeks of social experimentation post-build.
