**"How DAO" Podcast by RaidGuild**
***Summary***
RaidGuild can build influence through a (video) podcast. Episodes are opportunities:
- to create “halo effects” of credibility by association with thought leaders and builders.
- to conduct partner marketing which grows our audience base.
- to help people understand, appreciate, and seek out DAOs.
To choose a **topic and format**, we have to understand our unfair advantage and founder-market-fit:
- that RaidGuild is an OG DAO, at the forefront of DAO innovation.
- that we have relationships with those at the forefront of DAO experimentation.
- that we strongly believe in the paradigm shift of DAOs and Web3 - that’s our unique lens.
Traction depends on testing and validating the right **customer persona**:
*Web3 believers who want to hear from/about DAO leaders and contributors and Web3-adjacent/novice learning broadly about Web3 from a DAO perspective.*
Note: Caution against going broad, especially through episodes that highlight new projects and tokens. There are many such channels and they can come across as too much shill. RaidGuild should maintain an elevated “vibe” above the noise.
***Production Process***
1) Find podcast guest(s) and confirm interest - maximum two guests per episode.
2) Assign podcast host(s) - maximum two guild members per episode.
3) Schedule date and time for recording and/or live stream.
4) Record and produce podcast:
- Use Riverside to film, insert watermark/border, clean up sound quality (Riverside can do almost everything we need).
- Involve designer/videographer for intro/outro video and partner marketing graphics (social media image with guest photo/avatar, episode description, social tags).
- Use Buzzsprout to publish episode across all platforms.
Note: Begin by producing two podcasts per month.
***Marketing Process***
1) Create “hook tweet thread” to post on RaidGuild Twitter, tagging notable topics and parties discussed in the episode, including quotes.
2) Ask episode guest(s) to publicize RaidGuild tweet through their channels. Throw out call-to-action (e.g. hit up RaidGuild to join a DAO, to develop cool tech, to be a podcast guest).
3) Twitter: Find popular topics and categories on Twitter and product podcasts on those subjects and/or dig through old raids/connections/handbook/meetings and batch suggest 50~100 tweets in advance.
***Raid Party Skills***
- Podcast Host - in charge of finding and/or scheduling guests, conducting interview, recording, producing basics with Riverside
