Last month, the Safe team hosted a non-technical hackathon in which over 110 participants submitted ideas and content about Safe account abstraction.

For our submission, we created a presentation on a Safe AA wrap.

We were inspired by the Safe team's AA suite, which helps developers bring much needed user-experience improvements to web3 apps.

Our Safe AA wrap aims to enhance the modularity and code re-usability of the Safe AA suite.

The AA wrap can be easily extended with new account abstraction functionality. It can also be integrated across multiple platforms – mobile, gaming, web browsers and more.

We've been hard at work on an upcoming JS wrap feature that we think will be a game-changer for Polywrap developers. Up until now, existing JavaScript SDKs needed to be re-written as a wrap in one of our supporting languages (AssemblyScript and Rust).

When the new JS wrap feature is ready, any JavaScript SDK can be quickly wrapped, giving it all the capabilities of a Polywrap Wrap.

The JS wrap is still in an experimental phase, but we'll be sure to announce it when it's ready for use. Subscribe to our blog to get notified!

Polywrap retreat

We had our very first Polywrap contributor retreat in Split, Croatia!

Note: 1 group photo + 1 activity photo here

At this retreat, we did a ton of co-working, and also explored the beautiful cities and beaches of Croatia, played paintball, did a hackathon and cook-off, and much more. A huge special thank you to contributors Jure G and Jure B for organizing and welcoming Polywrap contributors from all around the world!

2/🥇 A big applause to our team for winning the grand prize at Safe's Account Abstraction (AA) non-technical hackathon. Our submission – a Safe AA wrap concept – would greatly enhance the composability of the current Safe AA suite.

3/📘 We've revamped our technical docs for a better reader experience. From a fresh design to more comprehendible guides and concepts, check out our latest work here: https://docs.polywrap.io/.

4/💻 JS Wrap is an experimental feature we're working on! When it's ready, there will be no more need for re-writing JavaScript SDKs in another language. With JS Wrap, any JavaScript SDK can enjoy the full capabilities of a Polywrap Wrap.

5/🌴 Finally, we held our first-ever Polywrap contributor retreat in Split, Croatia. A perfect blend of coworking, exploration, and bonding activities. Special thanks to @Jure G and @Jure B for organizing such an unforgettable event.
