# Generating Your Own Keymap
## Using QMK Configurator
- Go to config.qmk.fm
- Click on the keyboard entry field
- Start typing keebio and all the builds from keebio will show up
- Select the one you need
- QMK will display the default keymap layout for that keyboard model
- At this time, you can modify the keymap layout as you like
- After getting the keymap layout how you like it, click the word *Compile* on the green button
- Watch the potato bake! Enjoy potato facts.
- Once this procedure finishes, click the download Firmware button beside the Full Source button.
- Depending on your keyboard model, you'll receive a .hex or .bin file.
