## Abstract
When a video is decoded, the effort that the processor must provide is not steady. It constantly has to adapt its clock rate. By giving it some right instructions, we can help it anticipate the work it will do and thus smooth it's clock rate over time ; the latter being closely link to the power consumption of the processor.
