## Agenda
**Response from DC on making openWEMI permanent**
Steps:
1. That openWEMI be published for a review period of a month or two (excluding August), and that the working group find a way to address issues arising on a public mailing list, blog channel, or Github issue tracker. DCMI could support this review period with blog posts, YouTube videos, Web pages, and the like. Members of the Usage Board would be encouraged to participate in that review.
2. The proposal would then be submitted to the Usage Board. We would hold at least one teleconference for discussing any issues arising.
3. The proposal would then be submitted for the Governing Board (with the recommendation of the Usage Board) for final approval.
**Question on disposition of group:**
What do you propose the status of openWEMI should be? As you see it, would the openWEMI working group dissolve once the namespace were approved and the specification be considered more or less frozen (a situation more like BIBO and SKOS-THES, with you serving as its contact person)? Or would you want to constitute a small maintenance group on the model of LRMI?
