I discovered via reading that a site has to go through a lot of various processes before it can be assessed by other people. The web may be thought of as a cycle that is always turning since it has several stages of growth that it must go through step-by-step before it can be used. I always assumed the web consisted of the Internet, based on my past understanding, but after doing more research, I can see that there is more to the web than meets the eye. For instance, an attempt to connect to the Internet will fail in the absence of clients and servers. The fact that the internet transmits signals but lacks the intellect to do anything more is the only way I could tell them apart from one another. As mentioned before, there are several procedures involved in building a website, including IP addresses, DNS, HTTP and more. All of which makes me wonder: Does technology always operate the same way? Or do they concentrate on determining the age, gender, and target audience before deciding which technology is most appropriate for a webpage? But then I found my answer. I believe that not all web pages Use the same kinds of technology. This is because they are all unique, even though there are many commonalities. To sum up, the most important lesson I have learned from this reading is that web development is a lengthy process. Since everything is interrelated, it is imperative that you follow each step precisely. Additionally, because many different technologies are involved in the development of a webpage and its applications, you must be knowledgeable about, and comprehend each step as you proceed. In general, I believe that it is essential to determine the goal of the website and the target audience in order to choose the technologies that will work best for how to display it. ## Reading Response - Making it Stick “Making it stick” is one of the hardest things most teachers and students have to do nowadays. Learning is a vital part of existence as it involves acquiring knowledge that is necessary for success and self-improvement. Making it “stick”, or how to acquire insightful experiences of learning is nonetheless, what has evolved into a contentious subject in modern psychology. Many instructors have consistently promoted the widely accepted strategies from making sure that knowledge is retained in the brain. The Majority of these strategies, meanwhile, fall short o the overall learning objective. As demonstrated by Matt Brown’s experience piloting his Cessna and discovering that there had been a reduction in oil pressure, his ability to handle such an incident was based more on memory than comprehension. He thus had a lot of trouble maneuvering the aircraft. It has been discovered that integrating academic work with real world experiences boosts creativity, enabling students to pick up new ideas on their own. This method significantly delays the habitual repetition and memorization for tests that our educational system fosters. Introducing students to novel situations, issues and tasks to solve boost their creativity in a big way. For example, pilots were trained through theory in the classroom, which was followed by intense simulations that exposed the students to various obstacles, found in a regular work setting. Rereading and retrieval exercises are commonly implemented in school settings, due to their perceived ability to improve memory. But Einstein believed that creativity was superior to knowledge. Although having knowledge is crucial, it is meaningless if it cannot be applied creatively to generate original concepts. The aim of learning is greatly achieved when a subject that has been acquired may spark new thoughts, which is why information ought to be able to assist in resolving issues that arise in daily life. Using tales from people like Matt who operate in a setting where a high-level of topic master is required it is evident that instructors need to make sure the information is retained. But how can it be limited to reciting and remembering abstract ideas alone? Throughout the learning process, avoiding exams and emphasizing pragmatism via experimentation will undoubtedly reduce the finest learning results. ## Reading Response - Super Cooporators Isn’t it fascinating how people can utilize science to bring people together in the society they live in? There have been instances where certain theories, like Darwin’s, have supported the notion that survival is limited to the fittest. But as everyday events have demonstrated, people are prepared to go above and beyond to support one another when they are in need. A particular theory that explains why the idea of human need for one another functions is game theory. According to the hypothesis, each player’s or participant’s results are determined by how they play. Therefore, a company is created by the rivalry that each participant displays. Evolution is yet another idea that illustrates how social interactions are necessary for certain things to happen. “Evolution can only occur in populations of reproducing individuals” the author claims. However, altruism has also addressed how people can care for one another and the things that happen to them. There are only a few cases that demonstrate how much humans dampened on one another and how difficult it is for them to survive alone. Game theory and climate change are two instances of how corporations are promoted among people. As a result, it is evident and definitely true that not everyone is affected by the principle of “survival of the fittest”, as most people would come to one another’s aid in an emergency. ## Reading Response - Social has a Shape Humans create amazing networks with each other. This is one of my favorite things about them. With the help of networks, people have been able to achieve greater heights and access more possibilities than they could have otherwise. According to Rheingold, networks have facilitated the developments of connections that enlarge or strengthen communities. People will inevitably be able to pool their thoughts through networks. By doing this, it is possible to come up with a concept that will benefit both them and the general public. Long distances might appear to be shorter using networks in a short amount of time. Rheingold uses two individuals who are from different places as an example. Someone residing in the US for instance, may easily communicate with someone in another nation because of networking that has been established. According to Watts and Strogatz, this is an example of digital citizenship. As a result, social networks have made it possible for many people to connect virtually. One intriguing claim made about SNA (Social Network Analysis), is that it is quite probable that an individual would also meet the criteria if they have a friend who smokes cigarettes, is heavy, or is unpleasant. With all of that being said, this allegation is not totally true. This is due to the fact that although people are related, they also are unique.
