# Initial Student Research

>- TIPS:
- **If you find any oddities when looking up the student (already dismissed, dropped, etc); please @ your lead on a note to bring their attention to the ticket and allow them to take care of it**
- Ensure to check the cohort start date. If the student has pushed back their cohort start, then make a note to @ the SEM and pass the ticket to SEM Outreach Needed
- In future, we will build a dashboard into TAB2
- Utilize LP3 to double check program status to **ensure the student is current** and check assignment progress
- **Reminder: At Risk Reason is located in the ticket in the left section under At Risk Tickets (located under About This Ticket)**
