Each citizen in Rome has rights when being prosecuted and this article will explain them and what they can do.
# Right to a fair trial

Each citizen has the right to a fair trial. In the event a citizen believes his trial is not fair he can contact a Sub-Caput Judex to review his trial and if the Sub-Caput Judex finds the trial unfair he defendant may have another trial. If the Sub-Caput Judex finds the trial fair the defendant may not have another trial and the ruling will stick.
# Right to a speedy trial

In the event a citizen wants a speedy trial the Judex can Summary Judgement.
# Right to a Advocatus
---
Each defendant has a right to a Advocatus which is assigned by the Sub-Caput Advocatus or the Caput Advocatus. A Advocatus will not be assigned if the defendant already has chosen a Advocatus within two days of being served.
# Right to expungement
---
Each defendant after being issued a ruling has to wait five days before submitting a expungement request into having that ruling and case expunged from his record and it deleted.
# Military Cases
---
When someone joines the military they waive their right to a trial and the military Judex can choose to give them a trial or to just issue a ruling.
