# Noun Stories: Short Shorts' Season 1

## TL;DR
A team of award winning animators and executives in primetime animation have teamed up with Noun Stories' to commmission 10 comedic Nouns shorts.

## Vision
Noun Stories' will produce and release content through a Perpetual Original Content Machine that culminate in a robust animation and film ecosystem plus yearly Nouns Film Festival.

Short Shorts' Season 1 will give us a taste of what multi-hypenate creators can make with Nouns + inspire the next wave of storytellers to get involved for subsequent funding rounds.

## Short Shorts'
For Season 1 we'll hand pick, and Noun pill, some of our favorite creators plus run a 25E Prop House round for 5 shorts.

There are only 2 rules for the filmmakers: The films must be more than 5 seconds + feature a Noun character (TBD).

Proposers will submit a portfolio + a 1 sentence pitch about what they want to make.

Once we have our 10 shorts we'll awards 10E to the "Best In Show" as determined by the Nouns community. Winners will be tiered 1st (5ETH), 2nd (3ETH), 3rd (2ETH).)

Walter Newman - Sr Exec at Adult Swim overseeing such shows as Rick & Morty, Robot Chicken, Smiling Friends, Lazor Wulf + Adult Swim shorts.

## Dream a little dream...
Imagine you’re at SXSW, it’s 2025, and there’s a line of people waiting to get into Paramount Theater. Everyone is wearing square glasses and colorful clothes and talking about “Nouns.” Curiously, passersby ask “What is this?” when Aubtoshi suddenly pronounces "Noun Stories'! Some of the biggest names in animation have gathered to watch a series of shorts funded by the Nouns DAO and made by some of the most exciting established and up and coming storytellers in animation. There’s a horror short, an anime inspired drama, a very adult comedy, a high concept tear jerker short listed for an Academy Award and more". You enter the theater and your mind is blown. At the end of the night another surpise as a panel of Nounders share that almost all of the assets you saw up on screen, the character models, storylines, they are all available and open source, hosted on the blockchain, ready for you to build with and add your contribution to the Nouns storyverse. And those assets that aren’t avaialble, well those are from a short that’s already been optioned by a major studio that plans to develop it into a full length feature. This is where we’re headed, a place where Nouns equips and empowers storytellers to make groundbreaking content across all genres that land in living rooms and theaters and screens all over the world.

Nouns Stories' can be big sprawling universes and they can be quick, irreverant sketches. We wants to empower creators with wild ideas and fund them to create Nounish works. Short Shorts' Season 1 is the launch pad to this future.
