# SharkDAO "Nouns DAO Representative" Role Description ## What? SharkDAO owns 5 Nouns. This means 5 votes in the Nouns DAO. Each owner/group/dao that holds nouns have 1 voice/delegate in the Nouns Discord. Being delegate means representing SharkDAO's perspective and interest during discussions about NounsDAO matters, specific proposals, including joining the private weekly Nouner calls and text channels. It also means reporting back to SharkDAO with anything deemed important or relevant or useful for Sharks to know. (Meeting notes are taken and shared publically now without the need of the delegate, but they should help facilitate Shark's access to the notes) Additionally, helping to facilitate a framework for automations and systems that relay nounsdao on-chain votes directly to SharkDAO snapshots and discord posts will be an important way to make SharkDAO's participation sustainble. It is unrealistic to have this be the representitive's job to do manually so the representitive should always be striving to make sure these systems perform as automated as possible. ## Why? SharkDAO strives to be an active and productive member of the Nouns ecosystem. We should be activly analyzing and improving others proposals, discussing important topics in the DAO and using our communication efforts to promote and expose things happening with Nouns whether they are our initiative or others. ## How? To be eligable for the role you must either be nominated by a Shark or nominate yourself and receive at least 1 thumbs up emoji reaction. Please state clearly and succinctly why you would make a good Nouns DAO rep for SharkDAO. Voting will be held 1 week after this channel has opened and will be open for 1 week on Snapshot.
