Pátio do Colégio (in Portuguese School Yard, written in the archaic orthography Pateo do Collegio) is the name given to the historical Jesuit church and school in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The name is also used to refer to the square in front of the church. The Pátio do Colégio marks the site where the city was founded in 1554.

## Edifício Martinelli

The Martinelli Building (in Portuguese: Edifício Martinelli), with 28 floors, is the first skyscraper built in Brazil. Located in São Paulo, it is 105 meters tall.
The building was planned in 1922 by the Italian-born entrepreneur, Giuseppe Martinelli. Construction began in 1924, and was completed in 1929. At the time of its opening, it was the tallest building in Latin America, and the largest concrete-framed building in the world.
## Grandes galerias
Galeria do Rock , officially Centro Comercial Grandes Galerias, is a shopping center located in the city of São Paulo. It was built in 1962 and opened in 1963 at number 439 of Avenida São João, in the center of the capital of São Paulo , between 24 de Maio and Largo Paysandu streets .
Despite being relatively squeezed between two old buildings, the construction does not fail to exalt all its architectural beauty in its seven floors, including the basement. It currently has 450 commercial establishments, predominantly for the sale of products related to the rock, hip hop genre and items for skaters, but also catering to those looking for esoteric items or the Harry Potter book saga , fans of American basketball and old music lovers.

## Capelas dos aflitos (small church), Liberdade
Capela dos Aflitos, also known as Capela de Nossa Senhora dos Aflitos, is located on a small street in Liberdade (São Paulo neighborhood), between Galvão Bueno and Glória Streets, with access via Rua dos Estudantes and next to Estação Liberdade , where one of the few alleys still existing in São Paulo (city) remains , the Beco dos Aflitos. Inaugurated in 1775 , when it was customary for burial to take place inside churches, this cemeterythe open air was reserved only for the burial of indigents, slaves who did not belong to the Irmandade do Rosário and for those condemned to death on the gallows , known as tortured.
