- Add EASE extension point to workaround [Bug 580960](https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=580960)
- EASE loads all UI IStatup classes even in headless mode and provides an extension point to disable this. CDT will declare itself to not be loaded in this way.
- If this causes a missing identifier error, update [project settings sync script](https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt/blob/a3a6682faa782a1d53a198fd6718cd9b60a4ac63/releng/scripts/do_project_settings.sh#L100-L105) to change `unknown-identifier` from an error (`0`) to a warning (`1`) for the project

- Confirmed no objections to merging [removal of CDT specific lsp/dap plug-ins](https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt/pull/140)
