# Keycard Project ## Vision by Project Lead Guy-Louis Grau <guylouis@status.im> as explained by Ben: A payment network that does not need KYC or AML, but has the same plastic card user experience that every-one is used to. ## From keycard website: https://keycard.status.im/ : “Keycard is a new type of smartcard built with an open API for simple integration with crypto wallets and hardware.” ## Kosta’s vision for the keycard: Replace paper wallet and avoid waste when we run popup economies. *Evgeny:* - Cards are more expensive especially for one time use of popup economy - Instead of paper waste we get plastic waiste - Can one card hold multiple keys? ## What is the opportunity for LeapDAO? - Be part of the launch of a major payment network with Status. ## How does it affect LeapDAO's roadmap? - Computation is not needed to launch it. - unless we want to do multisig?
