**Instructions**
1. Answer all questions.
1. **Write your answers in a single word file and submit to Moodle. Indicate the question numbers only but do not copy the text of the questions or the instructions.**
2. Include your name, student ID, and your tutorial group number. At the end of each answer, please provide an accurate word count.
4. Deadline: **5pm 16 Nov 2021**.
5. Late submission: -25% within the first 24 hours after the deadline, -50% within the next 24 hour, etc.
6. You are strongly advised to submit early and not wait until the last minute.

(1) Name three different examples from the article about how food production and consumption lead to pollution or environmental destruction. No detailed explanation needed. (9%)
(2) Why does the author compare capitalism to a pyramid scheme? (5%)
(3) Is the author in favour of continuous global economic growth? Why or why not? (8%)
(4) Identify two different ways in which those who are super-wealthy might exacerbate the problem of climate change. Do not name particular persons or companies in your answer. (8%)
(5) Why does the author describe carbon tax as “MCB”? What is his alternative proposal? Do some research of your own and discuss what might be said in defence of a carbon tax. (70%, 300 words maximum. Include a reference list for your sources. Use the APA citation format. The list will not count towards the word limit.)
