--- tags: nir-vid --- # NIR-VID - work package 2 ## New sprint - reformat committee page and add screen responsiveness ## 20/03/2023 Work package 1 can be found [here](https://hackmd.io/@jhughes982/Byk8y8A65). The first prototype of the website has been completed with all of the functionality mentioned in the original work spec. **PI's:** Mohamed Hassouna (UCL surgeon) Manish Chand (UCL surgeon) **Primary developer:** Dr. James Hughes All estimates are costed at a £200 day rate and include only the features mentioned below. Any additional features will need to be discussed in a new work package. Every effort will be made to keep to the below estimates, however sometimes the work can take longer than expected as estimating software work is a challenging process. ___ ## Frontend web development estimates ### Frontend revisions | Task | Time estimate in days | Comments | |-|-|-| | Reformat the committee page | 0.5 | Main committee members should go side-by-side, Mo to go underneath. The initial bio should display 2 or 3 sentences. If the user clicks on a bio it should expand downward to reveal the rest of the text. Mo to send relevant text content for short and long bio versions. | | Add interactive homepage hero images | 0.5 | The images should change when the user clicks on the left and right arrow buttons. Mo to send relevant images. | | Add screen responsiveness | 3 | The website should look good and function across desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. | | **Total** | **4** | | ### Additional notes It may take several rounds of feedback before the look and feel is finalised across all different screen sizes. --- ### Total project estimates | Task | Time estimate in days | |----|----| | Frontend revisions | 4 | | Implementing feedback | 1 | | **Total time** | **5**| # Total cost: £1000 Due to cost concerns, we agreed that I would make a best effort to implement a basic version of the above features and I would let the PI's know how many days it took. We can then revisit this at a later date if we need to make it look better.
