1. Go to: https://github.com/GenomicsStandardsConsortium/mixs/issues, press 'New Issue'


2. Press New Issue, then Term Request


3. In title add the following: 'New term proposal: <YOUR_TERM>'

4. Fill in the code block with the required information, copy and pasting from the [v0.0.2 spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15AoMk3xNTK6XsoLQQ6M3e6wd2ZF8SuaAy87XMey4bvk/edit?usp=sharing)
- Make sure to add the text at the top that the term is for the MInAS package's `ancient` extension, and add `env_package` label.
- In the future there will be a dedicated `minas` label.
- To add a label press the 'label' header on the right hand bar


5. Press 'Submit new issue'

6. Announce it on #minas-metadata-standards on the SPAAM Slack :)

7. Rinse and repeat!
