Enzo: Rosenior Has Given Us Great Confidence; We’ll Fight to Win Trophies
Under head coach Rosenior, Chelsea’s confidence has continued to grow. Speaking to the club’s official media, Enzo Fernández said the team is gradually building stability, which will help create a stronger future for Chelsea.
Chelsea currently sit fifth in the Premier League after 24 rounds. They will face Hull City in the FA Cup fourth round next week and have already secured a place in the Champions League Round of 16, where they could meet Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain, Qarabağ, or Newcastle United. For now, however, the focus remains on their upcoming league away match against Wolves, a side Chelsea have already beaten twice this season.

Despite aiming for a third win over Wolves, Enzo remains cautious: “We’ve moved on from the Arsenal game—it’s in the past. Missing another final with Chelsea was disappointing, but we must look forward. We’re still competing in three important competitions, and the goal is to win a trophy by the end of the season. Of course, we’ll take it one game at a time. We want to win every match and will give everything against Wolves, following a clear plan and playing as a team to secure three points.”
Reflecting on recent performances, Enzo recalled dramatic comeback wins against Napoli and West Ham, scoring in both games, including a stoppage-time winner against West Ham. “That game at Stamford Bridge was crazy. We were 0-2 down and came back to win 3-2. Honestly, the feeling of scoring late is something I’ll never forget. I was incredibly happy for the team.”
Enzo has scored 11 goals across all competitions this season, marking the most prolific scoring campaign of his career so far. Speaking about his form, he said: “I feel very good right now. I’ve worked hard to reach this point. In training every day, I push myself to be my best, and every time I wear the Chelsea shirt, I give everything. I always want to improve, and I’m happy with my current form. Most importantly, I can help the team.”
Despite his impressive numbers, Enzo emphasized collective growth: “Since Rosenior arrived, we’ve felt very positive. He has given us great confidence both individually and as a team. He promotes attacking football, which suits us well. We’re happy with his ideas and are getting to know him and his staff better as we build a stronger foundation for Chelsea’s future.”
Enzo has also worn the captain’s armband multiple times this season, taking on greater responsibility within the squad. He added: “When Reece James isn’t on the pitch, I wear the armband. It’s very special for me because becoming captain has always been a dream. I truly enjoy the responsibility, especially wearing the Chelsea shirt. These moments are among the most precious in a footballer’s career and memories I’ll never forget.”
