## Steps

1. In the [course portal](https://courses.codepath.org/), click the Quick Actions dropdown then click Update Profile Information (see below).


2. You will be directed to a page that allows you to edit your user profile. Once in the page, update your Slack email to the one you wish to use then click **Save**.


3. Check your new email for a Slack invitation then accept the invitation.
***Note**: If your email is already in our Slack workspace, you won’t receive a Slack invitation anymore. Please allow a maximum of 24 hours for your new email to be added to the relevant Slack channels.*
5. If you encounter any issues or if you are still not added to the channels within 24 hours after accepting the invite, please reach out to [[e-mail]](mailto:[e-mail]).
