1. There are lot of devices in a place.
~~Phones, laptops, raspberry pi like computers, pads and smart TVs for example.~~ We want to have a network of these. We want community Networks. Preferably as physical wifi-mesh with a server or using IPv6 ids and internet as the back haul.
2. A network facilitates archiving, knowledge production, communications and community expressions but as media making activities increase, navigation and discovery are necessary.
3. How can this be provisioned? Media annotations by the community is the answer, effectively resulting in hyper-media archives. W3C Web Annotation standards and content address links come in handy in sharing of these across networks.
4. A CnBox will in spirit serve as a plug in device which comes with tools that help communities make sense of the media content. ~~One main feature is that it facilitates annotation on active streams, such as video conferences.~~ This will help the ball roll towards sense-making indicies and services.
