XPOSED is not only a platform that shares knowledge, but also aims to interact with their users, to create a strong and independent community that will sustain itself within Block-chain technology. XPOSED is a project launched by Ruben Cress, a photographer based in the Netherlands. <h2>The idea.</h2> Giving and sharing is a powerful tool that mostly always comes with a price: money. Block-chain technology brings back the peer-to-peer method without having third parties intervening between two parties. Because of this technology, many initiatives have found its base in the Block-chain. The Steemit platform is one of the initiatives that work with a reward-pool, spread out to its users, which makes this platform unique and very promising. XPOSED is going to be using this platform and let users decide how valuable the given knowledge is. This will remove the barrier for users too -purchase- courses with fiat money or cryptocurrency for that matter. This allows users from across the world, including third world countries to benefit and be able to use these courses without having to actually pay for them. The priority for delivering high-quality content increases, as the revenue model is entirely based on what users are willing to give. Sharing and giving would be perfectly in balance is seen as an idealistic and honest way. In this project, sharing photography related information happens to be the product that will be offered to the Steemit community. <h2>Using Steemit as a revenue model.</h2> By using this platform, it will allow users to give their share of the daily reward-pool to valuable posts, depending on their own share in the platform. Rewards can go as low as $0.00 SBD and up to 100+ SBD per up-vote. <i><b>SBD</b> : Steem Dollars (pegged at $1 USD and currently +/- $4 USD). <b>Up-vote</b> : The value of a users share on Steemit, paid out in SBD.</i> <h2>What problem does XPOSED solve?</h2> The investment needed for photography education will completely be eradicated since all courses will be published for free on Steemit. Everybody can use the available courses, whenever they would like to. There will be no paid membership. Other than paying for photography education, direct contact with mentors/teachers will be made possible more easily. Questions can be answered much faster, depending on the volume of questions. Similar questions can be turned into courses as the demand for an answer increases. <h2>Ambition</h2> Fighting plagiarism by motivating and inspiring people who like good photography is a small part we wish to take with these courses. <h2>Vision</h2> XPOSED is the place where to go if you want to know more about photography, learn from others, get motivated for the day and keep people interacting by providing assignments. <h2>Mission</h2> Teach as many Steemian as possible with the platform. Teach about copyright and plagiarism, teach them how to make a revenue out of their own photography by uploading photographs to shutterstock for example. <h2>Competition</h2> On Steemit there are many talented (professional) photographers. There are a few that are established and have already created a name for themselves. These are not considered to be seen as competition, but more as talented photographers to reach out to once XPOSED has established. What I like and what I look for in a talented photographer, is originality and a strong developed unique style. <h2>Why you should be part of XPOSED</h2> XPOSED is going to be the first Decentralised free to use photography education platform that is self-sustainable. With innovating technology, the world of photography should adapt to it as well. I got recently diagnosed with perfectionism, which can be a good thing for my clients, but also comes with quite every-day challenging barriers to overcome. I have over 100.000 photographs in my library that have not been published or my work is never finished. Ever. The reason is that I do not find them good enough to share with the world, or I am still looking for improvement. When Steemit caught my attention, I have found a way to challenge myself so I can overcome my biggest 'struggle': publish my work and let it be stuck in the blockchain forever. By nature, I am a giving person, usually, it cost myself more than it would cost the other. I have never fully understood the value of a dollar completely, as giving purely from the heart was worth more than money can buy. The other side of the coin is that I am very well aware what the value of a dollar can be, when in desperate need of that. Not personally, but yet so close. While others highly value my services as a photographer, I do not, I just ask my clients what they think it should be worth and how much it should cost/what they want to spend. Then I decide if this is an honest proposal. When it comes to Steemit, the mindset is almost the same, but it comes with risk and a higher personal investment. Time. I can create almost everything myself. I have the available equipment and knowledge. That time I can spend only once. <h2>Risk</h2> Building a platform/community where photography education is given for free would mean -a lot of time invested. In the FIAT world, the risk would certainly be lower, as people would just pay for the education and the spent time would pay itself out. Steemit has set a limit where people can reward an author within 7 days. This is quite interesting and challenging to see if this community would sustain itself. The average time spent on launching one course would take around 2 months to finish, equal to about 10-15k USD. This would mean that with one course 3000 STEEM need to be accumulated within two months, per course. Starting from the smartphone photographer to the professional photographer that seeks either improvement or would like to contribute. While this is not a pre, the ideal user should highly consider purchasing a DSLR camera of having one already. Eager to learn, improve and participate.
