# Account Setup and Subscription

To use yellow.ai, you need to have an account with us. This article will help you in setting up and upgrading your account.

## 1. Signup to yellow.ai

Once you sign up, your account will be on a free trial for 21 days. In this free trial you can try all the features in our platform and analyse what would work best for your business before you opt for a paid account.

1. Go to [cloud.yellow.ai](https://cloud.yellow.ai/auth/signup)
2. Select your preferred mode of signup.
3. Fill in the fields and click **Signup**.

* You can signup only with an official email address, personal email addresses will not be validated. If you face any issues, feel free to [contact us](https://yellow.ai/contact-us/).
* Choose your country code while providing your contact number.

4. You will receive the verification link in your registered email address. Click **Verify Email**. You will be taken to your Yellow.ai account.

5. In the following screen, select your business usecase and click **Next**.

6. Choose your level of familiarity with bots and click **Next**.

7. Fill in your personal details and click **Get Started**.

In the following page, you can choose to either create a bot from scratch, or choose one of the predefined bot templates.

### 1.1 Import from existing templates

Yellow.ai has a huge collection of predefined templates. These templates have been designed to suit different buisness usecases and industries. You can create a fully functional chatbot within minutes by using our templates.

1. Skim through the template collection and click the one that suits your usecase.
2. Click **Create**.

### 1.2 Create from scratch

Bots can be created from scratch to specifically suit your individual business usecases. To do so, you need to start by providing your bot requisites.

1. Click **Create a bot** from scratch.

2. Fill in the details on the **Create bot** dialog box and click **Create bot**.

## 2. Account Upgrade

Your yellow.ai account can be upgraded before or after your trial periods ends.

### 2.1 To upgrade before the trial period

1. Click the **Free** button on the top left corner.

2. Click the **Schedule now** button in the following pop-up to have a 1:1 with our product consultants who will help you choose a plan that suits your business.

### 2.2 To upgrade after the trial period

Once your trial ends, you will see this pop-up in your account.

Click the **Schedule call** button to have a 1:1 with our product consultants who will help you choose a plan that suits your business.

Once you click the **Schedule Now/ Schedule call** buttons, the **Calendly** pop-up gets displayed, where you can choose the **date**, **time** and the **time zone** that works for you.


In the following screen, fill in all the fields and click **Schedule Event**.
