As a jumping off point here, we would like to have a role for labs making the tools in our ecosystem. This could include: Bonnie Berger, Ge Gao, and Sarah Teichmann.

These labs don’t currently directly support any of the core tools in scverse. How would you like to see your role differentiated here?

We were thinking:

* “Organizing Committee” for core projects, and “Advisory Committee” for ecosystem projects
* Or, don't make any distinction

Before we reach out to more projects, we need to know what kind of role and recognition you would like to have. This let's us give a much clearer picture of what kind of involvment other groups and lab heads could have.
