### Overview
The Tiger Fanatic is a support antagonist for changelings.
They are a midround antagonist who spawns in maintenance, they will only naturally spawn if there is a changeling in play.
### How to spawn
To spawn one in yourself, go to game panel -> game mode panel -> execute midround ruleset and then find “fanatic” on the list. Warning this will spawn in a fanatic even if there aren’t any changelings on the station, so don’t do this unless there are already changelings or you have a plan.
You can also turn someone into a tiger fanatic via the antag panel, which will give them objectives and abilities of a fanatic, but it won’t give them any gear.
### Objectives
They have these objectives:
Escape alive OR be absorbed by a changeling
Have special changeling abilities used on you 3 times.
### Abilities & items
They have the ability to speak over hivechat, their text in anonymised as “Unworthy Worshiper”
They will start with the following items:
- Unique Clothing (Jumpsuit, Hoodie, Face Wraps, Arm Wraps)
- smuggler’s satchel
- Desert Eagle (gun)
- spare Desert Eagle Magazine
- combat knife
- Bioterror foam grenade
- doorjack
- A flask full of ritual wine (which heals them)
Brief summary of special interactions between fanatics and changelings:
* Changelings are able to identify fanatics via the extract DNA sting.
* The changeling cryosting heals the fanatic
* The fake armblade sting gives the fanatic a special (lethal) armblade
* The hallucination sting gives the fanatic changeling haste and changeling adrenaline
* A changeling’s dissonant screech reduces any ongoing stuns on the fanatic
* A fanatic who is absorbed by a changeling joins them as a imaginary friend
* A changeling who absorbs a fanatic gets a buff to chemical capacity and DNA points
### Core gameplay loop
The intended gameplay loop is supposed to look something like this:
* Tiger fanatic spawns in
* Fanatic makes contact with a changeling over hivechat
* The fanatic tries to meet up with the changeling, maybe having a few run-ins with crewmembers along the way.
* The fanatic serves the changeling’s bidding in exchange for their blessings.
* If the fanatic outlives their usefulness they end up absorbed, otherwise they continue being a minion to the changelings until they die/escape.
Fanatics are not necessarily expected to want to be absorbed, that's left up to the players.
### Policy
Here are my policy suggestions (defer to head admins for what they actually want to enforce):
On LRP: Standard rule 4 antag with the caveat that you should not knowingly harm a changeling without serious provocation.
On MRP: Standard Restricted antagonist. Having a changeling (an unrestricted antagonist) order you to do something counts as having a good roleplaying reason to do it.
