# Collection+
### **Problems this product is going to solve**
We have seen first hand with Nouns in its model's ability to continuously and successfully proliferate its meme. But NFT collections today, whilst having a large holder base, have no way to engage its community the way Nouns has been able to.
In the world of centralised 10k collections, we saw Azuki fumble its Elementals drop, causing a lot of dissastisfaction amongst its holder base.
Open editions like Stand with Crypto or Zorbs have an extremely large holder base of > 100k but there is no way to activate that community to collectively create value.
Another problem that this is going to solve is that Nounish DAOs take a lot of community building effort in its early stages. There are already thousands of NFT communities sitting there, untapped.
There is a lot of uncaptured, wasted creative energy amongst these NFT communities.

### Impact
The Collection+ feature will enable these collections to adopt the Nouns model and giving them the ability to coordinate using onchain governance and a treasury. This solution is permissionless which means holders can come together to drive a grassroots initiative to activate its community. Ultimately, this means more DAO experiments = more attempts at building communities that could reach the level of Nouns.

### Functional requirements
- Describe the JTBD or what the user is trying to achieve with this feature
- Requirement: “The feature MUST do [x]”
- Priority - MUST-HAVE, NICE-TO-HAVE
| User story | Requirement | Priority |
| --- | --- | --- |
| As a DAO deployer, I want to deploy a Nounish DAO for an NFT collection that I am a holder of | User can choose to create a DAO based on an NFT collection that they own | Must-have |
| As a DAO deployer, I want to set Treasury Seed fee for NFT holders that want to claim, so that the DAO treasury has funds from existing NFT holders instead of having to rely on new auctions | A "claim fee" dubbed as "Treasury Seed" integrated into the token claiming transaction | Must-have |
| As an NFT holder, I want to claim my DAO token, so that I can partake in DAO governance for my NFT collection. | A claim portal - 1 click to prompt the claiming process, seed treasury and delegate the token to user address| Must-have |

### Proposed user flows
**DAO Deployer**
1. Navigate to nouns.build "Create a DAO" page
2. Choose "Existing NFT collection"
3. Choose which NFT collection they want to deploy a DAO for
4. Wait for validation
- If a DAO already exists based on their NFT collection, show and ask if they want to join that instead + another option to deploy DAO anyways
- If no DAO exists yet, proceed to next step
5. Input DAO settings - name, DAO image, auction intervals, artwork
6. Input "Treasury seed" value
7. Deploy DAO and open claim portal
8. Start auctions
9. Copy DAO link
**NFT Holder**
1. Navigate to claim page
2. Click "Connect wallet"
3. If not eligible to claim, see message "You are not eligible to claim tokens for this DAO. Please bid on auctions."
5. On claim portal page, see how many DAO tokens eligible for claiming
6. See message "Maximum 10 DAO tokens can be claimed in one transaction"
7. See "Treasury seed" helptext
8. Sign offchain message to delegate to their address
9. Click "Claim # DAO tokens"
10. Confirm transaction in wallet

### Risks and dependencies
Engineering
- Dependent on 6551 implementation - they're still going through audit as of 6 Sept
Design requirements
- Delegation UX is challenging
- Easy claiming flow
- "Treasury seed" flow - although it's a part of the claiming flow, we should show users the importance of this action.

### OKRs
**Enable NFT collections to upgrade**
- Successfully launch the feature for at least 10 NFT collections to upgrade to a DAO within the first 3 months
- Attract at least 5 prominent NFT collections to adopt Collection+
- Ensure user-friendliness and low reports of technical issues
More new members in these NFT DAOs
- Drive net-new members in these NFT DAOs through auctions - at least 20% of members should be previously non-holders
