# Timeline Broken down into "Epochs", vague periods of time that overlap, broadly defined by some sort of sentiment. All dates follow Solarian Federal Standard Calendar for reader convenience. ## Contact Epoch Largely defined by "Contact Events", where different civilizations meet and form a framework for interstellar interactions. PdS-38 | **First Communications** --- Bluespace comms experts on Reyehim notice constant irregular "noise" coming from various points in space. Works together with a notable archivist's guild to send a burst of songs and other notable works out towards Kalixcis and Teceti (unbeknownst to them). Observatories receive communications shortly after. All three civilizations had already noticed this irregular bluespace noise for years by now and hypothesized them to be planetary communication networks, but had no way to act on this information. PdS-26 | **Bluespace Probe Launch** --- Larisafa scientists launch a physical bluespace probe designed to "shroud" itself in bluespace partially and re-emerge. Probe is lost in bluespace but the test launch gives valuable data regardless. PdS-22 --- PdS-20 | **Unmanned Shuttle Tennis** --- Teceti and Kalixcan parties, after some language exchange, agree to send unmanned craft posessing prototype shrouding devices back and forth, loaded with various items of academic interest. FSC-3 | **Human Contact Event** --- The discovery of an "autonomous alien vessel" shocks Solarians and sparks the imagination, while the discovery of an "enormous manned warship" shocks Kalixcans and sparks the imagination; significant resources are put into further development of FTL technologies. Contact with Solar Confederation is established shortly afterwards. FSC-15 | **'Flight of Capital' Incident** --- Mass desertion of the Solar Confederation by remaining corporate interests and enterpreneurs. Private sector of Sol pronounced "effectively dead" after event. Incident resulted in creation of numerous new companies and further development of FTL travel on other worlds. SolGov unbothered by incident. FSC-20 | **Interstellar Diplomacy** --- Existing communicants work together to build a framework for diplomacy and cooperation across nations; creation of "GALCOM", a set of guidelines for a minimalist universal language that is easy to learn and use. FSC-58 | **Vulpkanin Contact Event** --- Considered a "complete and utter disaster" by galactic community at large. See [Egys](/Vt_6PI-ZRUShopQTTYMzDg) for details. Considered the end of the Contact Epoch as policy regarding pre-bluespace sapients becomes "DO NOT CONTACT". - FSC-61 | The [Carragie-Morgaan Mining Cartel](/57jhwTwlTkSB45fAajpHQg) is created. - FSC-62 | The [Rehabilis Internationale](/VGgZFFEgT6mIt5kWoA4WDQ) is formed. ## Expansion Epoch Largely defined by a large wave of exploration and colonization; large overlap with Contact Epoch. Seen as a "golden age" of exploration and interstellar flight, with colonization and surveying projects receiving immense resources. FSC-23 | **Mixclitan System Colonized** --- International cooperation leads to establishment of a permanent starbase in the Mixclitan system. FSC-31 | **Pneuma System Colonized** --- Successful from ventures after the Flight of Capital, a wealthy Teceti resident establishes a permanent planet-side colony on Ousia, a theoretically habitable planet with extremely young biosphere.  ## Pre-Modern Epoch Largely defined by major conflicts and maturation of colonial and former-colonial societies. FSC-78 | **Ousia Colony Abandoned** --- Colony administration scales back involvement as capital backing from original founder is withdrawn. Provisional administration rules unanimously to join [FACTION?] FSC-155 | **Zohil Government Overthrown** --- Former imperial government replaced by revolutionary state, largely hostile to PGF. FSC-167 | **WAR** --- War spanning across Kalixcis along with numerous PGF and Zohil-controlled colonies sparks as a dispute over blame for a lost freighter spirals into a fully blown interstellar conflict. FSC-174 | **Zohil Government Overthrown** --- A successful counter-revolution overthrows revolutionary government to install new theocratic regime. Now officially called the Zohil Interstellar Explorat. ## Modern Epoch Current times. FSC-176 | **Blueflame System Colonized** --- Zohil Explorat claims pre-existing minor planet-side research outpost and begins development in-system, building a logistics hubstation and permanent planetary infrastructure. Further developments made over next few decades continuing to this day.
