Sensex is around 50k today. If you were investing ~30 years ago in 1991, what does it matter if it was at 900 or 1100?

Over long periods of time, you're more likely to lose out by not being disciplined enough. Getting today's NAV is not as important as you think.

Plenty of time in your hands, no rush.

Use **Netbanking** preferably, for higher chance of success. **NEFT** can be used as well. If the amount is **over 2L, use RTGS**.
