Actually the Sequel to Evil Dead II. Less splatter-y then Evil Dead II. Fun Fact, Peter Jackson stated this movie as one of the many inspirations for his "Lord of The Rings" Trilogy :-)

David Lynch. Need I say more.
- Shoot 'Em Up:+1:
Fun little Actionflick. Paper-thin story, which basically only exists to propel the movie from one wild action scene to the next.But the movie is pretty selfaware about this.
- The Raid
A Swat Team enters the lair of a drug kingping, but finds itself trapped, with no way to exit the building. One of the more gruelling action flicks from indonesia, but pretty good!

Basically "The Raid", but as an Adaption of "Judge Dredd".

- An old tire comes to life in the midst of the desert and falls in love with a young woman. Upon discovering its telekinetic abilities, it goes on a killing spree. If you think, you know what to expect now, rest assured. You don't. Very Meta.
- Palm Springs
- Basically "GroundHog Day", but with a few twists. Fun little movie.
- 12 Angry Men
- 12 Jurors are locked in a room and have to decided whether or not the Accused in an alleged murder case is guilty or not. Absolute master piece.
- Lawrence of Arabia
- Yes, its 4 hours long, but definitely one of those flicks one should've seen at least once
- The Third Man
- Dollar Trilogy

- The good, the bad and the Ugly

- Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure
*TimeTravel Extravaganza. School Buddies Bill and Ted travel through Time, to prepare for a History exam, that will not only save them from failing school, but will also unify humanity. Silly, but charming little movie starring a young Keanu Reeves as Ted.*

Remake of a 50s SciFi-flick. Scientist invents teleportation, but gets mixed up with a fly. Slowly he turns into a fly-like monster. Great movie.

*Another remake of a 50s Scifi movie. Strange alien pods are found on earth. Slowly but steadily the human population is exchanged by alien Impostors.

*Phil Tippetts (stop motion effects artists) personal long term project.*
- Seventh Voyage of Sinbad (1950-something).
*Classic. Didnt age well storywise but its effects were groundbreaking for the time. Checkout Ray Harryhausen*
- Jason and the Argonauts

- King Kong (1933)
*Yes its old, but pretty Cool. With awesome stop motion effects by Willis O'Brian (who later taught Ray Harryhausen), which were visionary for their time.*
- Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit

*time hasn't been to kind to the first attempt to turn Tolkiens epic into a movie. You can definitely see it's influences on Peter Jacksons movies though*

*Almost a Ghibli movie though produced right before it's foundation. A young woman trying to save her home from the fungal infection that has spread across the world discovers a deeper truth behind it.*
