***What are the advantages and disadvantages of this?***
:::
In developing countries, multinational companies are gradually common. This fact can come with an advantage in product distribution and a drawback of market domination.
The ability of product distribution to developing countries could be considered a good point. When a company or organization has a branch office in those countries, the process of product transportation can be significantly less expensive. For example, the price of Muji products has a huge decreased after Muji opened its official store in Vietnam.
About the drawback, the existence of multinational companies can dominate the market share of other domestic companies. The reason for this fact comes from these multinational companies having famous and well-known products which are preferred by the domestic consumers. Especially in Vietnam, where more than half of customers who are asked choose products of international organizations rather than domestic ones.
In conclusion, when a multinational company comes to a developing country, they can deliver their product more easily. As a consequence, decreased price and popularity of their famous is going to dominate domestic products then leads to market share domination.
