Just be sure to leave a blank line between your text and the `div` tags. Place math between dollar signs like $$f(x)=\sqrt{\frac{x+7}{x^2-24}}.$$ If you're feeling adventurous, you can try editing the html code at the top to get different colors or to change the profile pictures. Also, don't forget to delete all the sample conversation. </div><img class="right"/></div> --- To submit this assignment click on the Publish button ![Publish button icon](https://i.imgur.com/Qk7vi9V.png). Im having difficulties trying to follow the localization problem lol </div></div> <div><div class="alert blue"> Are you talking about finding the linear approximation and then plugging in the value 4.05? 😂 </div><img class="right"/></div> <div><img class="left"/><div class="alert gray"> Yea the question was Use the derivative formula $f'(x)=5x^3$ to find $f(x)=x^6$, $x=4$ and then its asking me ofr the value of $4.05^6$ </div></div> <div><img class="left"/><div class="alert gray"> I was having trouble bc i forgot the equation and I dont really think it matters other than math so why do it? </div></div> <div><div class="alert blue"> Well firs the equation actually does matter because finding the local lineariation can help you find tangent line and can be used for a coupe qiestions that are given. The equation normally used is $f(a)+f'(a)(x-a)$ from there just plug in the equations given to you as so $(4)^6+ 5(4)^3(x-4)$ </div><img class="right"/></div> <div><img class="left"/><div class="alert gray"> i solved the problem and ended up with 4096+8000(x-4) but what do i do with the $4.05^6$? </div></div> <div><div class="alert blue"> Well first you should fix your numbers 😂, the 5(4)^3 is 320 not 8000 i think you forgot to cube the 4 and then multiply by 5. its alright it happnes to me too 🤷‍♀️ </div><img class="right"/></div> <div><img class="left"/><div class="alert gray"> Oh thank you i didnt notice that until right now because my numbers were way too big 😂 after i fixed that i got 320 and how do i find $4.05^6$? </div></div> <div><div class="alert blue"> This part is the difficult part of the practice exam. WHat you nee to do is find out what number gave you $4.05$ using the equation $f(x)=x^6$ which would just be 4.05 😂 just change this into $L(x)~4.05$ Then just plug it in to the equation you got in the begining. </div><img class="right"/></div> <div><img class="left"/><div class="alert gray"> Oh thank you i didnt notice that until right now because my numbers were way too big 😂 after i fixed that i got 320 and I just plugged in 4.05 so would it be 4096+320(4.05-4)? </div></div> <div><div class="alert blue"> Yes from there you just subtract and multiply which should give you 4112 </div><img class="right"/></div> <div><img class="left"/><div class="alert gray"> Yea thats the answer i got lol than you for your help </div></div> <div><div class="alert blue"> No problem just keep practicing and youll get the hang of it :) </div><img class="right"/></div> ---
