# Overview of donating to gitcoin grants

5. Checkout with your preferred grants to donate

# Setting up to donate to CUBIE DAO gitcoin grant
## 1. Setup your metamask ethereum wallet
- You must have an ethereum wallet set up to receive funds from your Uphold account on the ethereum network
- If you do not already have one, check out the following metamask link
- Follow this metamask tutorial from polygon for installing the metamask chrome extension or mobile app https://docs.polygon.technology/docs/develop/metamask/hello/
- (be very careful if googling "Metamask extension" -- scammers post scam links for misspelled searches hoping to rank high on google)
# 2. Withdraw ETH from uphold to your metamask wallet address
## Mobile images
1. Login to Uphold
2. go to the transact menu

3. Select "From"

5. Select withdrawal from your ETH account
- Note: We recommend withdrawing a minimum of 0.02 ETH to avoid getting stuck without enough ETH to send your donatation later on in the process
4. Select "To"


6. Withdraw to Ethereum crypto network

7. Select "Preview Withdrawal"

7. You are going to input your ethereum wallet address you [set up earlier](https://hackmd.io/RKN7-pVgRjeKAg5ela5ZqA#Creating-an-ethereum-wallet-with-metamask)

8. We recommend withdrawing a minimum of 0.02 ETH to avoid getting stuck without gas to donate later on in the process


9. Copy your public wallet address (`0xabc...432` string) by copying from your "Wallet" page (blue) or "Share my Public Address" option (green)

- Press here to copy

10. Paste your public wallet address into Uphold

12. Review your withdrawal and make sure the withdrawal address matches your public wallet address


- the especially cautious can make a test withdrawal to their public address with the minimum withdrawal amount from Uphold (~0.008 ETH)
- wait for the withdrawal to be confirmed to see it (minus fees) in your metamask wallet

13. No note is necessary
14. Confirm withdrawal to your metamask public address

9. Click here to copy your public wallet address (`0xabc...432` string) from the metamask chrome extension

10. Paste your public wallet address into Uphold + confirm (there is one more confirmation step)

12. Review your withdrawal and make sure the withdrawal address matches your public wallet address
