# Title of Dataset:Bee performance on pollination of an oil-producing plant set from Pampean grassland This dataset refers to a study of the different pollinator performance on pollination of three Iridaceae species. This plant group is recognized by oil-producing flowers that are potentially pollinated by oil bees. However, we have been observed many pollen bees visiting and pollinating their flowers. Therefore, we tested the pollination performace through pollen deposited on stigmas after a single visit for both bee fucntional groups. Here, we have the bee freuncy of visits for each species. Each value refers to a number of visits by the time spent in observation. Besides that, data from reproductive test are availiable in their porcentage and anouther file with thepollen grains number found on stigmas is availiable too. With these results we highlighted the role of both bee funciotnal groups in the plant set studied. However, the plant species showed different contribution of the bee groups determining differential realized pollination niche, since more narrow realized pollination niche as in C. Herbertii, as more broad realized pollination niche as found to K. brasiliensis. ## Description of the Data and file structure Plant species codes: “C.her” – Cypella herbertii “H.pul” – Herbertia pulchella “K. bras” – Kelissa brasiliensis Bee functional groups codes: “oil” – oil bees “pollen”- pollen bees Treatments codes: “Total pollen” – refers to the totall pollen grains deposited on stigmas “Consp. Pollen” - refers to the conspecific pollen grains deposited on stigmas. “ratio” – indicates the proportion of conspecific pollen by total pollen found in stigmas. ## Sharing/access Information Links to other publicly accessible locations of the data: Was data derived from another source?no If yes, list source(s):
