# <center>**How to Migrate sOHM v1</center>**

1. First, you need to give the migration contract permission to convert your sOHMv1.
- Navigate to the sOHMv1 contract: (https://etherscan.io/address/0x04f2694c8fcee23e8fd0dfea1d4f5bb8c352111f#writeContract)
- Click “Connect to Web3”
- Click on Method 1 and enter the values below:
Spender = 0x184f3FAd8618a6F458C16bae63F70C426fE784B3
Amount = 115792089237316195423570985008687907853269984665640564039457584007913129639935
(NOTE: This is the maximum amount of gOHM that you can approve.)
It should look like the screenshot below.
- Click Write and approve the transaction in your wallet.

2. Once you’ve approved sOHMv1, go to the migration contract (linked below): (https://etherscan.io/address/0x184f3fad8618a6f458c16bae63f70c426fe784b3#writeContract)

- Click “Connect to Web3”
- Click on Method 5 migrateAll:
- If you have sOHM v1, enter a 1
- If you have wsOHM, enter a 2
- Click Write
- **NOTE: There is a failsafe in the contract that will estimate a huge gas fee, if the appropriate approvals aren’t completed. If you see a gas estimate in the thousands of dollars, you’ve done something wrong. Please reach out to the “@scholars” group in the Olympus discord for assistance.**

3. The migration transaction above will convert your sOHMv1 to sOHM. The following steps are **optional**.
- To convert your sOHM to gOHM, Navigate to the Olympus App: (https://app.olympusdao.finance/#/stake)
- Connect your wallet.
- Choose “sOHM” from the menu in the top section. Then click “Max.”
- Click “Wrap to gOHM”
