This note is to share some of the resources and framework / concepts I've touched on so far (some more than others) to Architect projects such as Open Source Capital DAO.

:bulb: **What is HYPERWARE?**

Hyperware or Hyperware Inc is technically a computer systems designs services company: NAICS Code 541512. Incorporated in the state of Connecticut, US.

Computer Systems Design Services is specific enough to drill into tooling, yet broad enough to expand into Protocol Design. This description is a feature that will serve the Corporation very well over the long-term.

### Internet Resources

As we discussed over our (delightful) conversation, my background is in the Geoscience space / Geology. An industry whose main focus is to hone in a specific resource (on Planet Earth or other celestial bodies), and learn about it's history enough about that resource to tell a story to any one about it's availability or lack there of, with the end goal of tapping into it. Most times with a corporate edge to it, but often times within academic parameters. Acamedia generally focusses on classifications and taxonomy of anamalia and on inatimate objects trapped within earth's crust - other planet's crust - in the present, or years past.

#### Uniform Resource Locators fast forward

When I discovered what a _URL_ really stood for, I was blown away. No one I met had ever defined it for me. A Hyperlink can really lead to ANY resource in the world, any direction, any combination of characters to open anything behind it ie. A physical package, a .zip file package, a screenshot of a seed-phase to any web3 wallet, or even a link to another resouce so you may have to follow a rabbit hole to get to the end point.

The URLs / Hyperlinks / Permalinks are the gatekeepers of all gate-keepers and now it has the ability to stand atop two big shoulders:

### Quick differences between resources stored within these two _Internet_ spaces

> The major difference between the two versions is their ethos and their method(s)

Both are great mediums as resource locators with one being relatively free, the other being relatively not free. Version 2 typically has teams with digital resources (webpages, intellectual property, and functions ie. games or company materials) behind a username and password (typically stored in a Server hosted Database they built or pay to use). Often times asking, or at times not asking for you, to give up access to personal credentials or metadata stored on the tool (device) you're using to view / utlize the said resource / functionality.

### _whereas_

Version 3 is more suited for teams who understand the safer way to grow their ecosystem is to not take these _sometimes vital_ credentials, and just have the accesiblity and entrance offloaded to the machine / protocol itself (Ethereum), via having the end-user "login". Typically this login is the form of Browser Plugin (ie Metamask) to _verify_ you are utilizing the tool The Machine (Ethereum/Ethereum VirtualMachine) uses as a proxy in order to _connect_. This example is what is behind you unlocking the your ability to search and aquire a Domain Name for yourself or your Organization:



> The major difference comes into play now: Your flavor of Currency and visibility to what you just purchased/aquired, let's say you purchased a domain for you Organization named _Open Source Capital_


> with just a quick search anyone on the internet can see this Domain resource is Registered. Double-clicking on _Registered_ gives you and anyone the same _rights_ to inspect and view who actually has _ownership_. With no hoops nor ladders to go through. Just simply knowing _where to look_. Like any physical book in any library.


> **In contrast** - the very same Organization wants to purchase a Domain resource on Internet version 2 is prompted with a similar experience at first, but quickly realizes they need other, more sophisticated tools to peel back the layers, to learn who to ask if they wanted to purchase the resource: _opensourcecapital.org_

> Double-clicking on _More options_ gives you _in this case_ another Registar (godaddy.com), the actual registar who consumed the Currency to register the domain on behalf of that organization.


### So what's the point / who cares?

Organizations, entities, human beings, literally any _sentient_ body should keep these flow in their periphery when looking to host resources on the internet for self, for others, or simply for visibility and or proof of existence, and or ownership. A relative point of contingency since the Internet's earliest days.

> Ethereum simply introduces new fundamentals into the mix - which oftentimes get overlooked by those who dedicate to tool making on the internet, or simply utilizing it as a tool to examine x, y or z.

### What kind of _mixing_ can be applied or are implied in this resource?... _it depends_

It depends on your beliefs are and your interpretation / understanding of what the Internet is. What a resource is. And what you believe any given resource keeps locked/unlocked or unlocks.

From there, you simply choose the framework you want to serve as the rails and bounraries (all things considered).

How you define Space and Durability.

### Cost of change is astronomic these days so let's build once. Our time here is too precious not too.

Organizational Durability is no different than Network Durability and essential to competitive strategic advantage. The logic here is: Networks manage Resources and We - tool makers - manage Organizations / comprise them. Thankfully with enough reading and combing through documentation (primarily written in the English Language) one can pick and choose, and potentially, even blend strategies - at least until desired network effect or desired durability.

> Hybrid approaches arise when current singular options do not meet satisfaction.

Wyoming understands this principle best - and they are putting their resorces behind it. The State of Wyoming undertstands the Internet has become a principle location for individuals to congregate, gather thoughts and ideas, join forces, and potentially generate a network effect compelling enough that converts to some downstream currency exchange via some service or product launch to generated revenue stream.

By creating a Decentralized Autonomous Organization subtype under their existing Limited Liability Company Type of Entity (domestic) they effectively blended the best of two worlds: legal presedence across the United States, Federal Employee Identification Number and all, with the nimbleness and portability the open version of the internet currently has to offer.

**This move** is an attestation Ethereum is a here to stay and why Open Source Capital exist today.
