A related question: Has PTEL become obsolete? Sally seems to have taken its place.
Or otherwise formulated: What problem does PTEL solve? I tried really hard to think of one, but couldn’t find one other than this.
Do we really need to specify PTEL, or is it a ‘must’ do implementation and public use of a TEL to get the functionality we want : issuance and revocation?

No Henk, they are not really related. PTEL is a public transaction event log that can be used to securely track state anchored to a KEL
Sally is just an implementation of a verification service. It is purpose built software for the vLEI ecosystem to allow participants in the vLEI ecosystem present credentials so the GLEIF Reporting API can show what vLEIs are. issued to Legal Entities.
