--- tags: petu --- # Community feature specs ## Post Viewing 1. User can view a list of posts from the pet / user that the viewer has subscribed. If the viewer has not subscribed on any criterias, the system would provide recommended posts. 2. User can view a list of posts to discover new things. The system dictates the recommendation rules to feed on user's taste. Posts can be filtered by the following criterias - Dog category, ex: puddles, labrado, pug...etc - Nearby geolocations of the user. We will discuss the proper timing of when to update user's geolocation 3. User can search for nearby pet **owners** (not pet nor posts). User is able to view it's profile and his / her pet gallery. ## Post Creation 1. User is able to create a post of pet like instagram. A post should contain following content: - title - content - a video or multiple images - pick which animal(s) is related to this post. post creator should pick one animal from pet gallery. If no animals have been created in the gallery, the user should create one first before he / she can create a post. ## Post User can perform following actions on a post: - replies - Subscribe - Share, if a post is being shared multiple times, it always refer to the original post creator instead of intermediary sharers. - Send gift (Send gift to this pet). ## Gift Sending User is able to send treat to the pet he / she is interested in. The treats are **real** products like food, toy or pet accessories. The gift sender can only send treats that the pet owner has set on the wishlist of each pet. Pet owner can set a maximum number (or, unlimited) on each gift a pet can receive. User can send treat from **send gift** button on the post. ## Notification (via chat) Chatroom is needed for various purposes. As for community feature scope, the following senarios demends chat: 1. Sending notifications when gift sending succeed or failed 2.
