# HStarter Ecosystem
# What is HStarter?
HStarter is the decentralized innovation engine crafted for Hedera. It consists of a tokenized incubator - HDAO and a community-oriented launchpad - HPAD. HederaStarter introduces DAO-governed incubator where the governance process is segregated across high-tech sectors, while the expertise of members is directly integrated into the ecosystem economics. Only the projects that are approved by industry leaders shaping the council of HederaDAO gain access to the HPAD.
# How/when will smart contracts be formally verified/audited?
HStarter is a project committed to full transparency and this permeates every aspect of our operations. Smart contracts will be audited by reputable independent third-parties and naturally we will make the audits publicly available as soon as they are ready. However, some of HStarter’s codebase and components will be initially proprietary as HStarter continues to innovate on extending the frontiers of Hedera by providing the primary market infrastructure to rapidly scale Hedera’s dApps, Web3, and DeFi ecosystem.
# Are you already incubating projects?
HederaStarter already has several projects in the pipeline and the first set of projects will commence their IDOs within the next few months.
# How do I apply my project for an IDO?
We encourage you to share with us your ideas, regardless of the current phase of development. Head to our webpage and click “Apply for IDO” from the header menu.
# Will HStarter incentivize the community with rewards?
As we mentioned in "What is the utility of HSTART tokens?" there are various incentivization methods included in the HStarter ecosystem. Launching projects will deposit tokens into the Community Innovation Funds (CIFs) which will reward every $HSTART holder. $HSTART unstaking fees are also redistributed across remaining stakers.
