Haswell partition upgraded to Rocky Linux 8.5. Old CentOS7 that can only be used on viz node are now moved into separate module. Use

module avail

Similarly `AlmaLinux/profile` has been created for deprecated Spack modules.

New EasyBuild modules are being compiled for RockyLinux 8.5 partitions.``

Restart of NX server on gpu02 due to VGL errors. No more LD_PRELOAD messages on compute nodes due to install of GLfaker libs.

Haswell partition upgraded to CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 with LUSTRE 2.14.57 client and NFS over Infiniband.

Failure of Infiniband observed on some *haswell* nodes. Whole partition is now draining and scheduled for upgrade of drivers.
Upgrade of *haswell* is scheduled for Sunday 10 April morning. Further there will be migration of *gpu02* login node from *Alma* to *Rocky8* linux.

We would like to inform you that HPC is available for use again. Due to technical problems with $HOME file server that occurred when we turned it on again, HPC was unavailable for some time.

Due to the unavailability of the monitoring node, the HPC will be unavailable until Monday, 2022 04 04, morning, when we will reset the VIZ login node.
Home directories (HOME) have been moved to a new NFS file server with higher capacity (73TB of space left).
At the same time, we urge users to delete redundant files on the work disk (WORK) as it has reached 92% occupancy.
