# `odl-m6` Open Design Lamp with M6

Adaptation of Lars Zimmermann's *Open Design Lamps* (ODL) with focus on
- M6 only
- part minimization
- part types
- part count
- scrap-materials and/or upcycling of materials (e.g., cardboard)

The vision is to document a set of standardized components (or modules) for lamps that can be freely combined in the best case:

##  /ODL Softbox/

A lamp that can be used as a softbox for photography, but also works as (desk) lamp.

##  Component: base-plate from fluted PP
The base plate is cut and layered fluted PP (Polypropylene), a material that is typically used for bill-boards/advertising (A1 and A0 sizes). In Germany its popular for election posters (*Wahlplakate*).
This design also shows a complete lamp so that the overal look an be assessed more easily, but the focus here is on the base-plate.

Not all kits come with this part. For some ODL designs/idioms it is mandatory.
