Kedarkantha Peak is in Uttarkashi's Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, offering a full view of Swargarohini and Black Peak. Accessible all year, except in July-August, it is 3810 meters high. Best from September to November, with good weather and little rain. December-February is for those who enjoy snow, frozen lakes, and -10°C. March-April sees less snow, May-June is less visited. Start from Sankri, trek via Juda Ka Talab and base camp, then a steep climb to the summit. Kedarkantha Trek is moderately tough, suitable for beginners and experienced trekkers, with gradual ascents, steep climbs, and snowy areas.
